You can record google meet in 2 way.
First way to record google meet (If you have G suite account):
If you have G suite account then this way is for you. Or if you don’t have G suite account then go to Second way below. Because it’s a G Suite Enterprise-only feature that allows both live streaming and recording of your videos.
Steps:
1. Go to this link 👉 https://admin.google.com
2. Click on App
3. Then click on G suite
4. Go below you will see google meet app logo. click on three dot and service turn on for everyone.
5. Now click on the google meet app.
6. Click on recording option.
7. Go below and check the option “Let people record their meetings”
8. Then save the change.
9. Now start a meeting from the same email.
10. Click three dot situated below in the right corner of the meeting screen.
11. You will see a option “Record meeting”. Turn it on.
12. After meeting end click on “Stop recording”
Where Are My Google Meet Recordings Saved?
IF you have recorded meeting, you may wonder: Where do Google Meet recordings go?
Do they remain on the Cloud, or go directly to your computer?
Location of google meet recoding:
After stopping the recording, you’ll immediately receive a notification that the recording will go to your Google Drive. or Recordings are saved to the organizer’s Meet Recordings folder in My Drive. Normally an email with the recording link is sent to the meeting organizer and the person who started the recording. The link may be added to the Calendar event.
Follow these steps for access your recording:
N.B. Sometimes it may take few time for your video to appear as Google needs to process it first. So if you don’t see your meeting record come after a while.
Why others can’t download record from my google drive link?
that means others don’t have permission to download from this link. So you have change this link permission before you share this link.
How to give permission for download my google drive link:
8. Select “Done”.
Why can’t I find my Google Meet recording?
Can’t find the recording button. If you don’t find the recording button. Make sure that you have turned on recording for Meet in the Google Admin console.
To enable google meet recording option follow this Steps:
1. Go to this link 👉 https://admin.google.com
2. Click on App
3. Then click on G suite

Do Meet recordings automatically save?
Yes, if you start meeting recording. Then it will be automatically saved in your google drive or organizer’s drive.
Second way to record google meet (If you don’t have G suite account):
You can record google meeting by following Steps:
1. Search on google “chrome extension”
2. Click on “Extensions – Chrome Web Store”
3. Search ” screen recorder”
4. Click on “scrnli screen recorder”
5. Add to chrome > Add extension
6. Go to extension
7. Pin “scrnli screen recorder”
8. Now go to google meeting> start meeting
9. Click on “scrnli screen recorder”
10. Start recording.
11. After meeting end click on “stop recording”
12. Now you will redirect to a link
13. Click on “Download” button to download the record.
